CCM Body Control Module
Is a 1994 CCM Body Control Module any different than a 1995 Body Control Module? 1994 part number is originally 16157364 now 88999217. A 1995 CCM part number is now 16223622.
I've somehow managed to bust my 94 ZR1's CCM and have toruble shot using a 1995 CCM and it proves to work alright in the garage, though I have not driven it down the street. I guess the 1995 CCM could be a little more advanced..maybe have a better processor in it or something...but when it was installed I got back my LCD display, my vats system, my pke system, my courtesy lights etc. The car cranks and runs and all seems normal. I just dont know what to expect down the road if I get a new 1995 CCM and have it flashed with my cars info from the original and use it, at least until a new 94 CCM becomes available. I ouwl change it twice to keep it correct. I just need to know if a 95 part will be ok in a 94. I dont think a 96 will work but I have not tried one. I think the ODB2 stuff that was put in the 96 involved the ECM primarily but some of the comunications between it and the CCM of a 96 could be different. Any help is appreciated. |

Re: CCM Body Control Module
I looked on GM Parts CD
1994 and 1995 there are different numbers The C4 LT1 and the LT5 have the same CCM I believe the Software in the CCM are different 1994 and 1995 so you can not use a 1995 CCM in 1994 C4 Raimund
