Default fuel injectors

I have three failing injectors on my 1990 Z. I am thinking of going with Accels. Do the primary and secondary injectors have different flow rates? Are they the same part number? I'll be replacing all sixteen. Dennis Swain

Yes they are all the same. I just replaced mine with the accels and they work great on my 91.

Thanks Tom! I got them from Summit Racing which wasn't too far from me.
Part number ACC-150821 which is a set of 8 so you need 2. Total cost was
$579.72. When you install them, use the outer ring slot on the end of the injector when you clip them in to the fuel rail so as to keep the distance the same as the old ones. Also, the secondary injectors' plug have a notch guide that does not match up so you have to remove it. I used a box knife to shave it off since the plasitic was relativly soft.

Have fun!

Does anyone know if the ACC-150821 injectors are also specified for the later 405 hp LT5 engines?

I swapped out the full set over Memorial Day weekend on our '90 to the Accels (also got them from Summit). Used the outer slot as mentioned above and also shaved the guide as mentioned above. Runs like a top again!

I take it you mean ACC-150824. 821s only have a flow rate of 21 lbs/hr. 824s have the correct flow rate of 24 lbs/hr. '93 has same flow rate as 90-92. '94 and '95 have a flow rate of 26 lbs./hr. Dennis Swain
Whoops! ACC-150821s are correct for stock application. Can't keep research straight. DMS
