Parking brake light , issue
Parking brake light. 93 zr1 . Parking brake light does not come on with lever .
It does however light up for a few seconds under hard acceleration in first gear ?? So the light is good. Something loose or ground problem ? Any have any experience with this ? Thanks guys. |

Re: Parking brake light , issue
To troubleshoot parking brake light, I would start with checking the switch which is part of parking brake lever.
As for the brake light lighting up briefly, are you sure it?s not the main brake warning light? Possibly triggered by low brake fluid in the reservoir? |

Re: Parking brake light , issue
Quick check of owner?s manual tells me ?park? on the cluster refers to parking brake engagement and ?brake? refers to braking system.

Thanks for your help. I will doing a search but anyone have any advice on refinishing throttle body. Powder coat ? Has the common blistering on top. |

Also, the source for blistering has to be addressed. I suspect blistering is from galvanic corrosion due to coolant going through the throttle body and presence of current. I have bypassed the throttle body and corrosion is not an issue anymore. |
