I notice on the wheels there is a cover over the lugs. Can you get these covers for the 1990?

I believe that is a early 1989 test car ,the wheels are 1989 with center caps.
You may find some old 1989 zr-1 rims for sale ever now and then. I brought a 1984 corvette when i moved to florida in 1988 for AT&T. when i saw a poster for the 1990 ZR-1 corvette i picked up a complete set of 1990 rims for my 1984 corvette from ECKLER's. After mounting the rims my 84 corvette looked like the 1990 ZR-1 poster pic ( red of course ) Had a lot of fun with that car. John |

I also found the comparison test a year later, where they made the ZR-1 sound like it was a POS. It did come third, somewhat begrudgingly, it seemed.
