Default Homage to Lotus

Found Lotus cam cover emblems online and decided to put them on. Was a big conversation starter at cars and coffee last weekend.

I got some Lotus decals/stickers like that when I had the '93. Put them in my rear window. Once went to a local annual British Car Union show and asked if I could park in the Lotus section--thought it would attract some favorable attention for the Lotus guys. With a stiff upper lip they said no thanks, wouldn't allow an American car near them. (Even though the show allowed Nash Metropolitans with an Austin engine). Oh well. Gave one to Marc H and I think he put it on the underside of his hood. Lots available if one searches on line. --Bob

Here's mine...

Made from an enameled lapel pin, about an
inch and a quarter diameter, with pin removed,
a slight dab of automotive RTV holds it in place.
Obtained from a vendor at a British car show.
He thought I was nuts when I told him they were
going on a Corvette...

I stole this idea from you way back in 2016 I think... Saw those stickers and was like Hmmmmm lol. I put mine on the passenger side hatch, to go with the 3 other stickers on the driver side of the hatch. ( Americas supercar life begins at 180MPH , Corvette museum member, and the one that came from the factory. Can't remember what that ones says) But that Lotus sticker gets the most confused looks and more questions than anything! And the green on yellow sticker looks good on a Polo green car lol...

I have Color Coordinated Ruby Red Fuzzy Dice.
It drives the NCRS types crazy!
No matter; All toy cars should have fuzzy dice!
( Steering wheel spinners are not required )
If only I could get Baby Moon hubcaps to stay on the Dymags..............
