Default Engine manual and engine electrical diagrams

Are there engine manuals and electrical diagrams available anywhere or do I have to hunt ebay for a factory service manual.

You will want all three Manuals depending on the model year. The regular FSM which has the vast majority of information, the LT5 supplement and the electrical diagnosis service manual. In 1990 they were separate, other years combined the EDS manual into the FSM. They are easy to find on eBay and probably the cheapest if you search. Here are some examples .

Does the engine manual cover the engine wiring harness? Because that is all I need. I only have an engine, I don't actually own a zr1

Both the FSM and the LT5 Supplement cover “engine electrical “ for things like component location, wiring routing, explanations on how the various systems work and are diagnosed. Complete schematics are in the EDS manual. Again it depends on the year as to whether the EDS is separate or part of the FSM. Starting in 92 it was part of the 2 volume FSM. Sounds like your looking for schematics. But if your trying to understand how the systems work you’ll need the FSM.
