Default Header guts...

What are these connections that were connected to the original headers? Should I be leaving them like this? Thanks for any help!

A.I.R pump. You can take it all out. Would make sense to also disable in calibration.

It’s an early emissions device. When starting the car cold the engine goes into “choke” mode (to use a carburetor analogy) It runs very rich for several minutes until it warms up. Internal combustion engines run poorly if at all until they reach operating temperature. Air injection was used to pump fresh air into the exhaust to help the catalyst burn up the excess hydrocarbons (fuel). Back in the day catalysts were very inefficient when cold. Today engines run much leaner mixes when cold and cold catalysts are more efficient so air injection is generally no longer used.

Interesting! Thanks for the explanation. Hopefully when I remove the pump, I don't remove anything important!
