Can I just say how lucky we are to own and drive these great cars? With the "RedSled" being garaged for several weeks with all the ice, snow and crud over the roads, it was nice to take her out early this morning for a triple digit flog. There just isn't a car out there like ours and it was a blast to so dramatically contribute some hydrocarbons to the environment (sorry Al Gore). Even after a few weeks you can forget how awesome this car sounds. Come on Spring....

Heheh, took mine for a spin today too! I forgot about the key thing, though, and didn't start it up long enough. It backfired but no hoses seemed to come off (some smoke wafted out of the air filters though). It took a while to crank to life, but it was soon purring. It had probably sat for 5 weeks or so though, hopefully it won't sit that long again.

Amen on be a lucky few. took my 90 red/red #2161 out for a spin today too. going to add 150 miles to the odometer tomorrow. the daffodills are blooming and i think the temp. will be about 60 degrees.
