Default Exhaust Manifold stud/nut

In checking the block numbers on my new purchase, I discovered by accident that it is missing a rear exhaust manifold stud and nut/other hardware. Is this typical and are there other bolts and fasteners to look for that loosen on these ZR1's? I will be checking the others to see if they are tight.

Where would I get the original hardware or would anyone have some from an exhaust swap that they would want to part with? I would want at least two sets in case there are any more that I haven't checked

Keep in mind I doubt any ZR-1 with OEM manifolds has all the bolts in them as not all the bolts were installed originally

Each of our manifolds have 16 bolts, regular SB chevy has 6 (i think) on each side.

Default Exhaust Manifold stud/nut

I think everyone who first looks at their "new" ZR-1 notices all the missing bolts in the exhaust header flange, including me. In actuality, they were never installed.

Here's a link to an image on my website regarding exhaust manifold bolt placement. Nice thing is,,,, all the holes are tapped in the cylinder head which is a good thing when headers are installed.

Would it hurt to put in the missing bolts in the stock manifolds in the miss g holes?

It wouldn't hurt anything, but why bother doing if not leaking?

Good point. Thanks for the information. You would think with the stress of everything, more bolts would be needed. I have seen plenty of gm products loosing or breaking bolts holding the exhaust manifolds on.
