Needs some assistance
I have been talking to a Mark Berry in England. He was one of the original engineers on the LT5 project when GM first called about it. He hasn't been contacted before this point that I can tell. I wanted to send him a list of questions about the LT5s development and design and why they went the routes they went. If you gentlemen can think of any unique or insightful questions I would be happy to add them to the list.
Thank you Dave Hetrick Editor and Chief on the HOTB |

Re: Needs some assistance
How much did the dimensional constraints imposed by Chevrolet affect the camshaft drive/chains/sprockets design?

Re: Needs some assistance
I'd love to pick his brain! My only questions would be, was it always going to be DOHC and naturally aspirated? I know GM was thinking of a turbo but abandoned that idea.....And how many engines bit the big one, before they got a steady working model?

I like those. And please feel free to post any and all questions I can pass them all on.
