Default Chip modifications

What are the most popular chip modifications? I am looking to install headers on my car this winter. When I get the chip burned I would like to have most of the mods done at one time.

Your best bet is to send the chip to Marc Haibeck (or one of the other experts on this forum). He will adjust all the parameters to match your configuration and do a quick turnaround at a reasonable price. The most common mods are eliminate the 1-4 skip shift and turn out the light that comes on for it, maybe a little richer mixture for headers, both cooling fans set to come on at 205 degrees, some people change the rev limiter, etc. There are a lot of different variables that can be adjusted, but whenever you have them done you should have it done by someone with a lot of experience with our engines and with a clear understanding of your engine's planned configuration, any emissions requirements, and your intended driving style and usage. Best if it can be done in person with the actual car. If you haven't seen it there is an older thread on chip modifications and suppliers that might have some useful information for you: http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=852--Bob

Marc is going to be my tuner for sure. I need to have my throttle body fixed by him as well to fix my sticky throttle blade issue.
