Slinging chips for a living.
Hipsher Machine works had a hot job for an aerospace company. It had to be done for OTC "Off shore technical conference" It's the largest energy conference in the world. It's $150 a ticket to get in. But I got VIP passes courtesy of the customer. It was very cool to see the parts I made all assembled and on display in the glass case. These are just a few of them from the order.
Even hired my buddy Cesar "excellent cnc lathe hand" to help me knock these parts out. I gladly paid him $27 an hour for 40 hours. I have to admit that I got a little choked up when I saw it on display in the glass case. I was networking like a madman. Handing out business cards and meeting engineers from all over the world. It was amazing. Glad I went. Can't wait to go next year. |
