Default Looking for another classic

I'm in the market for a classic car in (cruise-in quality) and have narrowed my choices down to two styles, mid year Corvette coupe 4 speed small block or a 1973 Trans Am (non SD 4 speed).

Just based on what you know of the two cars, which would you choose and why?

Thanks

That is a tough choice. I would go with the TA just because you dont see that many anymore.

TransAm. It looked like a refugee from the race track when it was first introduced.

I would also go with the t/a
I have a '79 bandit 400 4spd wich i have owned for 22 years. as popular as those cars were you don't see clean one around that oftern. when friends come to the house they pass by the 3 corvettes and talk about the smokey and the bandit trans am.

mid year corvette 4 speed without a doubt. TA has a reputation of being a poor mans corvette. it is bulky, heavy and cumbersome. very heavy doors and it rusts. they are not fast either. How can u lose with a midyear???? money in the bank.

My next Vette will be a Midyear Coupe so that answers that one. Have you seen the prices of 455SDs lately? $100,000.

If you can find a rust free well priced TA then go for it.

If you plan to really run it hard and drive the hell out of it - well I think you know that answer then.
