Time for an antique car show!
Our 1990 ZR-1's are now officially recognized as antiques!
Check out the image gallery at: http://www.hemmings.com/hcc/stories/..._feature4.html Looking at the other new car choices available in 1990, imagine how extraordinary it would have been to drive a new ZR-1. Feature Article from Hemmings Classic Car February, 2015 - Mike Bumbeck Those just getting used to the idea of cars and trucks from the early 1980s being considered classics might be in for a bit of a shock for the New Year. Here's why: As of now, 1990 is 25 years in the past. What this means to the collector car hobby is that, according to its bylaws, the Antique Automobile Club of America will now officially recognize cars from 1990. Does this mean all cars, trucks and minivans from 1990--or even the selections we're about to look at here--will become time-honored machines like a Packard Eight or a first-generation Ford Mustang? Only time will tell. Assembled on these pages are just a few of the possibilities eligible for the AACA show fields in 2015. While some of these are first-year models, others mark the end of a line or an evolutionary step along the way. |

Except for the ZR-1, what an underwhelming group.
