New to the Forum
Want to introduce myself and my '90 Red/Red ZR-1. I joined the Registry when I purchased my car this summer and am just getting around to writing on the Forum. The car is nearly stock, 21,000 miles and currently has no issues. Just replaced the water pump and stock front tires and ditched the tire pressure sensors. I'm a very happy ZR-1 owner.
I'm aiming to drive down to the ZR-1 Reunion at the Museum in May. Hope to see you there. Here are a few photos. (I knew you'd ask) http://s128.photobucket.com/albums/p164/RedSled24/ Cheers to all , Keith in Maryland |

Re: New to the Forum
Thanks guys. The Registry and Forum have been a great source of information so far and both were helpful in my purchase. Much appreciated. It's a clean car. Came with all the paperwork. Pizza box. Both tops....
ZR-1s are such great cars. I still find it surprising that they are not more popular in the Corvette community. I see it even in our local Corvette Club. Like they are an oddity. Go figure? How can you not like a Corvette that revs and sounds as good as the LT-5 does! I was sold as soon as I drove one. Had to have my own Beast. |

Re: New to the Forum
Welcome, welcome! We got our Beast a year ago last August and the folks on this forum (who are very knowledgeable) have been more than willing to help out with (even really stupid ) questions.
I also recommend the Corvette Forum http://forums.corvetteforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50 (although I KNOW I will get razzed for that! ) as another great resource. I have learned a considerable amount between the two "stompin' grounds" and spoken to great folks who have assisted us a lot already without making a "newbie" feel like a complete idiot! Enjoy your new toy! |

Re: New to the Forum
Keith,
I'm also new to the forum and a new Z owner, 1990 Polo Green, Saddle with 18,000 on the odometer (19k now). I'm happy to see there is another ZR-1 owner in Maryland. I was beginning to think I was the only one. Don Crimmins |
