Default 93-95 Owners...Side emblem placement..

Attention all 93-95 owners......I like the look of the side emblems on the ZR1..

I want to put them on my 91.....Can somebody please tell me the distance
From the top of the moulding to the bottom of the emblem?
I have an idea from looking at close ups but if someone can get out a ruler on one of there cars I would appreciate it.....

Thank you so much....

Don't have a car here to measure--WARP TEN is down at Marc's for a little work. But adding the emblems is a good idea--looks great. I have done that on other cars--I added "4.2" trunk emblems to the front fenders of my 2001 Audi 4.2 Sport and added "SRT8" emblems to the fenders of my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 when I had them. And in the old days registry members even added a ZR-1 side emblems to the front which always seemed to me to be where there should have been one in the first place. Here's a picture of HIL KING. Note that I painted all of HIL KING's ZR-1 emblems red because I felt that the black ones on a Quasar Blue car didn't stand out enough. --Bob

Thank you so much....
Measured the emblem on my '95 for you. It's 1.75" from the bottom of the hood (crease between the hood and lower panel) to the bottom of the "Z". Laterally, it's 5.75" from the edge of the hood (crease between the hood and the driver's door) to right edge of the "1" measured on the driver side.

And you're welcome.

I devised a great way of mounting mine and they're perfectly straight and in the correct location...

I took a long strip of standard 1.88" masking tape and placed it on the hood with its bottom edge perfectly aligned with the bottom edge of the hood. I then measured that bottom edge of the hood and placed a mark on the masking tape in the exact center, and also did the same with the emblem. Then, I just lined up those 2 marks and placed the bottom edge of the emblem along the top edge of the masking tape. Its now perfectly-centered and perfectly level, and in the stock location. Worked like a charm. Hopefully this makes sense...let me know if you need any clarification.

Good luck!

I'll bet they're still on the stock hood, where ever that may be...
In your basement perhaps? Goshen?

you'll have to have them uploaded somewhere, imgur, photobucket, something like that. Or you can upload them and attach them to your post
