Re: Power steering line routing
This is the high pressure hose similar to my 90
After searching through a few things, the hose on the right is what was on the car...the PS failure was apparently due to hose rub

Re: Power steering line routing
I believe the hose that was on the car is a 93-95 hose as is the low pressure hose to the cooler. The hose on the car goes under the sway bar where the 90 goes over.

Re: Power steering line routing
Now I need to know the orientation of the upper hose.....on the 90 the low pressure hose is on the bottom and the high loops over the top.
Anyone know if this is correct?

Re: Power steering line routing
'90 and '91 PS pressure hose is the same. There's a different part number for '92+ cars.
The return side is the same all model years. In this buyers guide a 71777 is '92+ part and 71778 is the '90 & '91 part: http://www.plews-edelmann.com/pressure-hoses/ Click the part # for images. Last edited by WVZR-1; 10-02-2014 at 05:59 PM. |
