Default Reintroduction to my Engine Swap

Guys

I have been on and off these boards for over ten years now. In this time I have married off a daughter and moved three others into or closer to college; dealt with the challenge of a tough marriage, a rough economy, and the passing of my father. Work has taken me to across the US, and into Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Time has been very precious.

In these ten years I have been collecting a bunch of parts to build a copy of the ’89 DR-1 convertible. Well, a few weeks back, with some help, I started to actually build the car.

This post is to set some backstory for posts down the road as I know I will need some help but will also just want to share. A number of you have already pitched in, THANK YOU! I will need a few more parts, some advice, and will have a few odds and ends to sell. And will post a few photos as I go.

Let’s see if I can get this done in a year.

George

I wasn't contrasting the two, just pointing out that they are on similar paths if George didn't know that.
