Default What do I need for header install?

Hey guys,

OBX headers are on the way. I understand that I need some sort of extension for the O2 sensors and some sort of mod for the dipstick. Help with specifics?

Thanks in advance!

It's been way too long since I installed my headers for me to remember what's needed but I do remember that I looked at old posts on this site for tips. It was pretty straightforward and the hard part was removing the manifolds with the related heat shields.

" What do I need for header install"

MONEY.....

Because then it's an upgraded exhaust.... A port job..... a couple of cams....a New chip.... new half shafts....... Maybe a new rear end ratio.....Then tires..... Then more tires....

It's a disease with No known cure...But You will have a smile on your face.

I've made a few dozen of the dipstick brackets for guys installing headers. I just finished a batch. They're pretty simple, but work like a charm - one PIA you'll not have after you install the headers!

So, if you need one, PM me with your address.

I'm pretty sure that someone around here just finished a detailed photo-doc'ed install of some OBX's last week...

Buy Paul's dipstick relocation bracket.
My headers rubbed on my stering shaft. We ended up jacking the motor and shimming the motor mounts.
