Help! - Where does this go?
 Can someone tell me what it is and where it goes? MAP sensor shown to give a sense of size. |

I believe that is the cam sensor shield.

did you figure out that wonky little metal rod bracket? that almost looks like a fender support to me. congrats ! the car is coming along nicely |

The weird bracket supports the ASR module. I discovered it when I was looking at Kevin's motor to identify some bolt sizes.
