Earlier this spring, I noticed my dash lights flickering when revving my '91. I suspected the alt/voltage regulator. A few weeks later, the 5 year, 2 month old AC Delco battery failed to start the car, despite it being on a Tender all the time and despite the green (charged light) showing on the Tender. I replaced the battery - no more flickering lights.

Another example of how sensitive the ZR-1s (perhaps C4s) are to batt voltage.
