I need a new one and I see several on EBay. Delphi for one, for $320 including gasket and strainer. My GM dealer wants $600 plus for one. Ecklers list a separate one for the ZR1. Whats up? Tks

If Jerry's got it, I'll second that.

The ones on Rockauto.com are fine for $20 ea.
PERFORMANCE ELECTRIC Part # P240KC They fit with no cutting the holder. Just replace both while in there and do NOT ever run the pump in open air. It damages them. Don't ask how I know. For more info see: http://www.zr1netregistry.com/Inform...ent-Steps.aspx and http://www.zr1netregistry.com/Inform...placement.aspx

Look for BB 454 Suburban pumps. They're the same thing. I would try the Bosch units if I needed replacements.

I and several others had issues with the Airtech units, listed at AutoZone as the replacement for the pump. FYI.
As an aside, at 40k miles I replaced my fuel filter (located on the frame, behind the right front wheel) the same time I replaced my fuel pumps. I was shocked at the amount of crud that was in there!. ![]()

Great point! That and the "socks" on the pumps. Sometimes they are plugged to the point where the pump is sucking up the socks impeding the flow of fuel.

I agree. The strainers should be swapped out too. Most pumps come with one.
