I am installing SW headers on a 90 Z and the pass side header has a 1/2 inch male quick connect air fitting welded on #2 cylinder. Whats that for ?
Also... do I need to lift the motor a little to change the oil pan gasket? If so...one side or both?

Lift the front of engine a bit (remove two motor mount nuts) to get those three (90') or four (93'-95') front 6mm oil pan bolts out. Some remove the cross boxes. Engine lifted in front with 2x4 wood spacer in place. ![]() Oil Pans and Gaskets Differences TIPS Installing New Oil Pan Gasket New Oil Pan Gasket and Bolts Oil pan gasket

Installing on Ã* friends Z, sw headers and B&B exhaust.
Made with M10 thread on the inside and screwed in a stainless bolt. At Jerrysgaskets.com you can find a good installation guide for the oil pan gasket. Or just follow the links from Dynomite , I use them quite often too. Last edited by Jitse; 02-22-2014 at 04:33 AM. |
