Windshields
OK, who here has an old windshield they'd like to donate to science? As some of you may know, I'm working with someone in an attempt to get some reproduction windshields made. In order to make them look as OEM as possible, we'd like to get a sample. It can be one that is broken, delaminated, even a piece of one would help.
If you have anything, PM me. Thanks Constantine

Re: Windshields
I could have "potentially" the worst example of a '90 ZR1 windshield on the planet in my car. I've got discoloration, delamination, mega chips, sandblasting and overall nasty pink glow. I'd donate it to science in a heartbeat if I had a replacement. I've been looking for one for over a year. However - are you sure you'd want to use such a crummy example? I Just don't know how I'd drive the car at 150mph without the windshield in the meantime. Might be a bit breezy.

Re: Windshields
If your windshield is that bad, it might be best to put in a standard C4 glass. You can have a regular c4 glass installed for about $300. If the person really wants to have some windshields made ( I am working on the same thing) he should be HAPPY to buy a ZR1 OE glass for $300.
