Default Need Help to Adjust New Targa Top

When I purchased my ZR-1 it only came with the transparent top but according to the window sticker it was a dual top option car. I found a targa top on eBay from a 95 Admiral Blue car that is in perfect condition.

I’m trying to find out how to adjust the new solid top so it fits the car. What I found so far suggests adjusting both the brackets on the car and the top. I still want the transparent top to fit so don't want to move the brackets on the car.

Any ideas on how to adjust the new solid top to fit the car without moving the brackets on the car so the transparent top will still fit?

Thanks, Ed

You can do it by just loosening the top brackets, getting them centered, marking it and partially tightening them double checking for fit as needed.

My way was to remove the plastic trim to be able to see and touch it easier...also start with the top brackets almost tight so they don't move too much. running the hardware into the thread will force the bracket to center due to the beveled hole the targa bracket engages.

Thanks Mike, I will give this a try.
