As I understand it there are two build sheets buried in the chassis: 1 between the gas tank/the body and 1 somewhere in the pass side frame rail.
Am I correct? is the frame rail one easy to get to with out major disassembly? thx |

The ones I've seen in the front are in the cross-member and would be difficult to recover. It's certainly I believe a more "practical" purchase from the NCM. It will also be legible!

Second that! I got both my build sheet and my window sticker, including a laminated one for car shows. At some point I will retrieve the build sheet from the tank (which on my 93 Z was accessable through the license plate bracket), but for now I am fine with the NCM's items. --Bob

It has been quite a few years but as I recall I removed the wide license plate bracket and was able to see the top of the tank. I could see the build sheet so I just reached in a carefully worked it free. Came off complete and in good shape. Anyone else do this? Am I recalling it correctly? --Bob
