Vettes and jets on the lex 2013
This is a great event held in Corpus Christi TX on the Deck of the USS Lexington. Via the original aircraft elevator we lift 14 vettes at a time(alot of fun) and after all is done 375 are on deck. Its a 3 day event September 13-15 and almost 1500 vettes attend. All of this is to raise money for the wounded warrior foundation and also help disabled veterans. Last I heard there is 50 slots left that wont last long also this year I sponsored a set of challenge coins that is to be given to only the cars that are displayed on the deck. Also my club is the one hosting this years event.

Dave, we need to get a group venture to participate in this event. I know of several prior service Zr-1 registry members that would love to participate in this event.

Sweet pic! I have a friend who was a Marine Skyhawk pilot, and had to punch out over N. V. Luckily for him, the good guys found him first.
