Default Cut--Open lid?

Does anyone have it for sale, or is this the source to get one? Thought people were cutting their stock lids, but I guess you are buying this instead?

I will buy a used one from you if you no longer use it.

I have a year old open lid and k/n filter I don't need. They have about 6000 miles on them. Both in very good shape. I would sell them for $60 + shipping.
Let me know if you are interested.

I bought one from Doug Rippie a few years back. All they did was take a stock lid and but the top off. It looked like they used a mill because it was straight and clean. If you had something to cut metal with you couuld cut a stock one down yourself. Theirs didn't have the strip going across the middle. I don't think it would make a difference but just FYI.

That is how mine is too. Don't have the strip either.
