![]() ![]() ![]() Getting adapter today so the Brembos will be going to their new home soon. The Z06 rotor is clearly "flatter" than the Brembo and that should pull wheels and tires closer to fender well. The Brembos require longer wheel studs so that's being changed too. |

Dave,
I'm using the stock GS pads for now. Lots of meat left on those bones. How do you like the decal? Lee, To quote that birther Trump, these brakes are HUGE! |

Might want to sell the used padlets and get ceramic. Those padlets will dirty up your calipers in the first few hours guaranteed. Performance of the OEM pads in superb though. As long as you don't mind cleaning the calipers, keep them on David |

WJust some camparison of the Z06 and Brembo rotors
Here's the diameter difference ![]() And here is the height difference. Its about 1.5". Square is resting on top of Brembo rotor hat surface. This is one reason I went to the Z06 rotors. The Brembo is a taller rotor and so pushed out the Z06 wheel further past the fender line. I did a quick test fit and the Z06 wheel will be nearly flush with the fender. ![]() Last edited by XfireZ51; 09-25-2012 at 09:09 AM. |

So I guess you have to use 18 in. rims? I'm just curious on what changes had to be made? Thanks for the write up...
