Default New Windshield Trim

Finally got my newly powder coated windshield trim pieces and new A-pillar gasket installed last weekend.....didn't come out half bad. Thanks David, Yun and Paul for your help.

Great! I always wondered what could be done to aging trim besides paint, which always peels off. Looks brand new

Details about how to take it off without breaking clips etc. would be nice if you could share.

thanks!

I took mine off when I changed the windshield. Stripped them and powder coated them. Look great and will last longer than OEM finish.

No clips, just screws....I have a spare set of trim, I'll shoot some pics tonight, show you how it all fits together. Not hard, just use a digital camera as you take things apart.

Thanks David. I want you to so see the color match on the car before I get this other set done. It looks pretty good but you may want a different the color, it's a bit off from OEM.
