Ultamate C4 Build
Okay I have been working off and on for a while now the ultimate C4 (84) base hyper dream car. I want it to be road legal but it will be a auto cross and from time to time drag strip car. Here is what I have so far, LS7, T56, racing air jacks, finshed mold for a Carbon Fiber roof, Dana 44, and my full machine shop at my disposal. I was wondering if you guys have any input towards this suspension, chassis stiffening , anything to improve the C4 chassis and suspension. Any ideas are welcome I want to see what has been done out there. Right now I am trying to work on my concept. Thank you gentalmen for any advice.

Re: Ultamate C4 Build
Certainly brakes. How about doing the adapters for C6Z brakes?

Re: Ultamate C4 Build
Oh ya I also have c5 brakes and c5 zo6 wheels. But if I do run across some c6s I definitely want them though. Excellent point Xfirez51

Re: Ultamate C4 Build
There are some pcts in the "events" section that I took at the 2011 gathering of a car with a camber brace done by Baker racing. I'll look around and see if I can find a link for you to the thread. The car is a white Z owned by one of our bothers here.
Oh, just remembered this. Baker Racing stitch welded the frame to supplant the spot welds from the factory. That will stiffen up any frame. My 72 had that treatment recommended to me by a dirt racer who was a buddy of mine. It's a lot of work and time but my 72 was stiffer than my 90 Z. Of course I don't know how comfortable that would be as I was in my late 20's when I owned that car! Tom
