Default Spare Igntion Module Connectors

Anyone have any spare connectors or pigtails for the cam sensor and the
14pin that attach to the DIS module? I have a firend who can scope out the module and determine coil dwell which we need to determine in order to move the LSx CnP thing forward w TurboBob.

You asked? Cam sensor: I believe you could do this pretty inexpensively using these:

Cam sensor: http://webcaps.ecomm.gm.com/internet...rtNumber=pt420

14-PIN: I believe you could use any 14 pin module connector from the 3800's that he's probably got many of and just remove the indexing except the one that is centered on terminal G. That seems to be the only indexing that they share. Minor task. I believe the bolt in both is a 10x24 but one is a 7mm head and the other 1/4" I believe. That you might need to attempt to confirm. I've got a 3800 connector but the screw pitch gauge is at work.

If you PM me an email address I believe I can do you a print of both so you can see the areas I'm referring to.
I've used the FSM and some GM SPO materials.

I've checked a little more closely and I believe you could end up with 2 indexes top and bottom either side of the bolt to align it! Looks pretty straight forward!

Compare this image to that in the FSM: http://www.acdelcotechconnect.com/pi...9-12167123.jpg

It seems that just any 3800 connector wouldn't work without just a little more effort. I've a new harness for a 3800 Series 1 '92 or so that has terminal K blank. It's a non-supercharged piece. K looks to be a "requirement". You could add a terminal and be all set.

I've a Series 1 "supercharged" that has all 14 populated and from later FSM's it appears maybe that all Series-2 supercharged or not are all populated.

A trip to the bone-yard with a 7mm and diagonals could land a connector easily and then require only the indexes be modified. The convenience of the 3800 and the bone-yard is you can just lift the hood count, cut and go home! The ICM is top and front of the engine.

I was going to dremel one of mine today but I need discs for the cutter.

I also noticed you mentioned "friend" and I'm guessing TurbBob maybe isn't close.
