L98, based on the area between the rear 1/4's and the speaker boxes underneath. Mine has a dead air space between the speaker box and the upper surround panel on each side. I can't remember if the rear clip I tore apart had the dead air space or not?
Also, look at the antenna opening. It may be too far to the outside of the fender to be a ZR1??? I could be wrong, but based on the pics, it looks like an L98 car. NOTE After taking another look, it's just too hard for me to be certain. Maybe someone else can tell.

My moneys on a ZR-1 as the L98 rear halo surround was never supplied in one piece section like the ZR-1 was. On the L98 you could buy either side 1/4 panels, but the ZR-1 was a complete unit only. Based on the pictures, that's a ZR-1 rear surround.
Then again, the car may have being flat black and what we see is the remains of the back of the car with all new front panels? Ah heck, &*%^*^& if i know. |

Antenna hole on rear quarter looks to me like a Z.

![]() I think Lee is right, that is an L98 body. Like Blue Flame Restorations and secondchance mentioned, the antenna hole looks to be too far to the curved edge. Also, the curve of the top of the door at the base of the halo panel doesn't look curved enough. Here is a picture of my Z at nearly the same angle the day after I first got it back in April 2009. Compare the two areas where the red arrows are pointing in my pic with Lee's pics. I'd say that is definitely not a ZR-1. ![]() |

Thats a ZR-1.Just looking at the top of the quarters tells me that.Looking at how much the dogleg curves out also says ZR-1.

It has 91+ door trim but the pasenger door has a speaker hole in it as an 89 or older would have.
Interesting find, Lee. You just never know........early wide body maybe?????
