Default First 2011 outing...YeeHaw!

I'm still getting used to the new ponies, it seems! Went to have dinner w/ Jim (aka Jimmac) and his very pretty lady Marie (who is not only a car nut, but her enthusiasm would put all but the most ardent car nuts to shame!). The route to the Bier Stube was along 22 miles of country blacktop, peppered with a few "victims" along the way (heh, heh, heh).

Pete was right when he said that after you whack it once the mods are done, you forget about all the chit ya went thru to get there. Without going into too much detail, lets just say that pulling it down a couple gears and whacking it to pass two pokies - the surge of the modded LT5 as it reaches 7K is like a time warp where everything stops but you!

All those chips in my fingers and tribulations with the heads paid off big time! What a rush!

No, I'm not making a point except to say anyone interested in picking up some serious ponies can do so relatively easily when it comes to the LT5. And, you'll love it!

P.

Something I will have to think about next winter when I pull mine apart to do the powdercoating, you can never have too much HP. I love it when I punch it and listen to the exhaust note at about 5 grand.

Yep! ON another note, we need to think about a GTG over in Galena, IL - be a chance for some of the MN, IA, and WI ZR-1 drivers to make acquaintances with some of the IL (FBI) gang. Lots of twisty roads to straighten out, I'm sure!
