Hello All,
My accessory drive belt is starting to wear or fray badly on one side, the side closest to the radiator. I have a replacement belt. Should I replace the belt tensioner pulley as well? Thanks! -Mim '93 40th Anniversary #438 77K miles |

Also, make sure that the pulley isn't cracked or worn in a weird way where the belt contacts it.

Well, the tensioner is but one pully that could be cockeyed enough to cause that. If you don't see anything wrong, take the belt off and see if there are other pulleys that wobble. And, verify all accesory bolts are in place and are not loose.
If in fact your tensioner pully is bad, and a ZR-1 pully can't be found, I can attest that an LT1 pulley works just fine. Good luck! P. |

Autozone has the pulley in stock and it's around $10 if I remember right.
