20th BBQ Funds Update-THANKS!!!

Hey Gang,
As most of you know, we surprised our long time friends and participants in most every Gathering with our Guest of Honor award, actually, to their son Eric who is currently deployed in one of the hottest combat zones on the planet. Many of you contributed above and beyond and will forever be on my good list. Thanks to you we've built up a proceeds fund from our BBQ and I asked Eric for a list of things he and his guys might need. Makes you think about how nice we have it, huh? Also, if anyone has any connections for procuring these items or wish to donate any items (old magazines work too), please do not hesitate to contact me privately. Also need a shipper if anyone has an in with Fed Ex, UPS, etc. I have a feeling we're going to have a couple of BIG boxes.

Ok, so i asked the guys what they would want, and this is what i got back from them, are you ready....they make me laugh!!

1. Dip (copenhagen wintergreen/skoal etc..)
2. Cigs (New Port, Reds etc...)
3. Beef Jerky
4. Cookies
5. Kettle Corn
6. Football
7. Magazines (cars/trucks/girl (no porno) MAXIM/Guns etc)
8. Pillows/Pillow cases
9. Protein bars/power bars
10. Red lens head lamps
11. Gatorade mix
12. Playstaion 3 controller
13. Playstaion 3 NHL 2010 game
14. Any new DVD movies
15. 5 hour energy shot drinks
16. Whey Protein (for working out)
17. Any type of snacks
18. Ebergy Drinks (monsters/red bulls etc..)

Well you asked for it, so here is the list they came up with. Jim, really anything you send they will love, thanks so much for doing this for the boys, they are getting smoked out here. It is hot, working long hours and under constant stress and pressure. The chow the cooks cook for us is the same stuff almost every 3 days, the portions suck, they are always starving they say.

Again, i can not thank you enough for the BBQ surprise and auction.
