I have 2 shocks, one is bright yellow and one is a darker more of a mustard yellow
Assuming both are original valving, are they different valving? I think one is OEM and one is OE replacement.

I think it's unlikely that the color is an indication of valving. Most likely they were from different years or lots, or one set was refinished.
