Default Sealant for window seals

I am replacing the rubber seals for the top & rear glass what is the best sealant for OEM seals to use on my 90 ZR-1

Rear glass does not need any. A sealant is already imbedded deep in the channel. For the roof I recommend 3M adhesive and 3M remover to remove the old sealant if you have not removed the old seals already. I suggest dyelectric grease for the top of both seals

DG is good and inexpensive but I like Wurth Rubber Care Gel Stick best or 1Z Gummi-Pflege which is cheaper.

If you use the Wurth stuff religiously, you might never have to buy another set of weatherstrip.

Don't go cheap on Rubbers - buy the good stuff

Other products I love: Zaino Towels, ZCS Clear Seal and Stoner Products (not the type you smoke )

I'm not a big fan of dashboard shine, but who makes the best one for that? I used to use a Pinnacle one that left a Satin look to it which was pretty good.

Show us a picture of the areas you are talking about. I have no idea which area you are talking about in the above statement. In post number one you spoke of the top and rear glass. Now im assuming you are talking about the B pillar behind the traga roof panel which you are calling rear glass and perhaps the side targa seals that mate to the top of each of the door windows? As to the statement that GM weatherstripping is the best I will only agree that they are the best seals for factory fitment. However, beware of original GM seals that are not sealed in the original packaging. They dry out quickly and then they tend to rot in place within months of doing the install job. This is the voice of experience. GC

Ok B pillar is the one thats behind your head that is the backside of the Targa top. The one that surrounds the front of the Targa above the windshield that ends inside the front of both doors is the A Pillar. My answers are still the same 3M weatherstripping Adhesive. The rear back glass or if your prefer the rear Hatch window seal my answer is again still the same you dont need any adhesive.

100%

Also, do treat the rubber to preserve it as you already are well aware, that stuff is not cheap
