Default Where is the Tommy Morrison ZR-1 Corvette located at in the Smithonian?

I was told there is a Tommy Morrison ZR-1 on display at the Smithonian but I could not find it a few weeks ago when I was in the D.C. area. I checked the transportation and a few of the other buildings but it sure is huge and could not imagine where else it might be. Has anyone actually seen it there and please tell me the location for my next visit. Or has it come off display already?

Thanks in advance.

This is the car that was on display, I am not sure if they rotate the displays or what time frame they are on but here is the car you are looking for.

I figured Brett would have a pic of it. He's the King of Morrison/Challenge data.

Thanks for sharing and your reply. I won't be going back until after the May gathering so I hope I can meet him in person and I'm sure he can direct me to it.

With more searching I think I might have found where it is located: http://americanhistory.si.edu/about/...306&type=board

I told the guy I was with it might be in the Museum of American History and he did not think so and we ran out of time. I'll look there when I go back.

Thanks again.

I just had to chuckle a bit...image folks seeing this ZR and then seeing the 'MerCruiser' logo and going "that is a motor boat engine"

Here's the other Morrison #92. Identical except for a couple of decals. Cool stuff!

I am not taking credit for it, I just found it on the internet at some point. Did not mean for anyone to think that I took it, just posted it up so he knew what he was looking for.
