Default 1990 Injectors

I just got back from FIC a full set (16) of rebuilt Bosch injectors. Fic flow checked and will provide a 3 year warranty to the new owner. $300 shipped.

Are they compliant with the 10% ethanol currently in gas? Ready to install? If so I may be interested.

You sound like you know a lot about the injectors. Toyvet1 is selling a set of rebuilt Bosch injectors. Have you seen any difference between rebuilt verses NOS Bosch injectors? I don't want to go to the trouble of pulling my plenum to replace the injectors and since they are rebuilts is there a potential for an early failure? I have not yet ohmed out my injectors in the car, I recall you can do this from the back of the ECM. Are you aware of a description on how to do it?

I'd like to buy these from Toyvet, I am a realitive newbe when it comes to pulling the plenum, I am just trying to be careful.

Thanks for your thoughts.

i have one rebuilt set in my 90 that i drag and an nos bosch set that is in the 92. they both work well .if you are worried at all, i would ask if he has had them in the car and if so how long they have been out . sometimes they can get sticky if they have been out of the car for a long time . you can allways call jon at fic injectors and ask if you have a problem with them will he warrenty them even though you are buying them from a second party . that way you would be confedent of using them . hope this helps . before you pull the plenum make sure you get a set of plenum gaskets . i would get those from jerrys gaskets he is a member here and his gaskets are first rate .

I put the Bosch in about a year and a half ago. I replaced the multitech that were 18 years old.

This winter i replaced the coils and while I had the pleunem off I decided to put in the new Multitech replacements FIC sells. I talked to Jon and sent the Bosch in to be checked. I was told to tell the new owners to call him and regesiter them for a 3 yr warranty.

If you have any questions about it give Jon at FIC a call. FIC is a great place to deal with,,

Thanks for the advice. Going to put in an order with Jerry. I understand I may also need the secondary seals too?

Thanks again, John
