3 years ago when I got the car the owner gave me the original Bilstein shocks in a box. He said they were wore out. So he put KYB's on the car because he was under the impression that it would cost him $2500 to replace the Bilsteins. Ridiculous. So I put them in the trunk of the Lincoln. And they had been there for three years. Well I go to look for them and pop the trunk and the whole trunk has been cleaned out and vacuumed. I asked my wife honey who cleaned out the trunk. She says I don't know. What do you mean I don't know? She says after the shop put the new engine in he said that they cleaned and detailed the car. I said well I hope he didn't throw my shocks in the dumpster. Those things are $189 a piece. And of course she tries to turn it around on me. Well if they were so important then why didn't you take them out? I said because those are my damn cars and I should be able to put whatever I want in the trunk without worry about some A-hole touching my sheet. I say just ask him tomorrow if he took a box of yellow shocks out of the trunk thats all. Sheesh! I swear.

As a wise man on the movie "Braveheart" once said, "God says I'll be ok but that you, my friend, are F----d".

The guy knew what they were and lifted them. They were in a box and obviously not trash. You was "robbed"!

Mine had the actuators still attached to them. Maybe when I get to Coreys today he'll have some laying around he'll give me a good deal on. I mean the KYB's work fine. It would be nice to be able to use the selective ride control though.
