Default Power key problem

My 2yr godson was in my ZR1 and now my power key is missing. How much trouble is this going to be for his parents to replace it.

<copied from the FAQ>
The Power Keys for the ZR-1 are not special or unique to each ZR-1 (except for the 1990 ZR-1). All '90s will work with all other '90's and all '91's thru '95's will work with each other. For some reason the 1990 is different, maybe keyed different then all the other ZR-1 years.

The part numbers are as follows:

1990 part number 12505009.
1991 - 1995 part number 12508275.

Also for some reason the 1990 key is twice the price of the '91 thru '95 keys.

Kurt has '90's listed for $42.00, Corvette Central has 'em for $48.00

Didn't see any '91-95's.

TC the logo is different in the head of the key between the two styles. I think they are both the same cut but the MY90 is an actual on/off switch vs the 91 and up with the actual module with the power green led

I hope he didn't swallow it, for his sake not the key. Maybe an x-ray is in order?

Just move the seats around, and look down there. More than likely he was playing with it and it fell. Also pull the lower cushions off the seat and look down there.

Dave,

Just curious, did you ever find the power key? I actually found one in the new car under the consol when I removed it to clean.

Sorry should have posted a lot earlier but just saw this one.
