Re: When did you buy your ZR-1
I bought my Z in 2000 from the owner of a Chevrolet dealership
here in CA. His son got in too much trouble with the car. The salesman didn't even know about the Valet Key. It was interesting that (at least at this dealership) the car was just something else to sell; numbers in a book. My Gain! PS: Dealership closed years ago. T

When did you buy your ZR-1
November 1994 - I bought my 1991 White/Black #1236 from Corvette Mike in LA, for exactly 1/2 orig. sticker price, with 3Kmi. on it.
My College age Son and I drove it home to Florida, ( 174mph. In Texas). The best trip of our lives. 26 years and 70Kmi. later, it?s still in the garage. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry

Re: When did you buy your ZR-1
I bought mine early March of 2020. Was a One owner car from NC.
Had it delivered just before things started shutting down due to Covid19. Glad I timed it that way. Had things shut down before I made the deal I probably wouldn't have it today.

If buying; God, I hope so! Just like the stock market, the price line is always moving. With cars: First down. Then stable. Then up. I have mastered the art of "buy high". Your goal should be to buy during the first two parts of that cycle. The trick is figuring out when each is happening, and how far it will move. If you figure it out, kindly let me know. The better strategy is buy and enjoy, whenever. Marty |

Re: When did you buy your ZR-1
July 2017, in Wexford, PA. Had been without a Corvette for 21 years by then, and without a ZR-1 for all of my (then) 43 years! She barely made it home (found the next day that the MAP sensor hose had come off and was clogged with oil).

Re: When did you buy your ZR-1
1-9-2021 less than 20 miles from home. I will be figuring out how to get her to run thru the winter. She turns over, so far so good.
