I think the participants should pay, not the club. But a good compromise may be that the club pay for the safety equipment, track prep, etc, etc... What was the difference, $1000?

I don't know why we'd even want to do it without timing lights, track prep and safety equipment.
Yep, sure did. Just wanted to make sure that my $100 was taken into account.

Drag Racing is not as easy as one might think especially in a ZR-1.

Why is it one driver can 0-60 0-100 or 1/4 faster then the next guy.

The Z is tricky compared to other cars
Reaction time.
Coordinating clutch/throttle from a stand still/control from spinning out.
Shift points foot,hand,eye coordination.
Hit the shifts as fast as you can and on time.
Make sure each shift hits next gear, how many can power shift into 3rd.
Doing all this while keeping the car from doing a 360.

It's the only way to keep our ZR-1's real, shows your power level and driver skill.

Yeah....Just ask Dominic!

Dom, if you're reading this, I just saw a C6 make a "left turn" on a re-run of "PINKS". Made me think of your experience. Scary!!

Okay, I'll join Brett on this deal. My $100.00 is up. Frank, just tell me when you want it.

I'll join the $100 club with the other two if someone will make a youtube or record some way of me seeing the competition?
