Re: Considering selling the beast ....
I went thru the same thing a year ago. Wanted a C6 zr1 so bad I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Didn’t really want to sell my big cube c4 zr1. Wife thought I was silly for wanting both.......so I bought it for her!!

Lol..... solution I hadn't considered. Although my wife can't drive a stick and "might" be able to tell you the difference between a camaro and Corvette 😂

Re: Considering selling the beast ....
I think Bob Gillig put it best (4 me): "MY C6 is just a car. But, the ZR-1 is In my WILL!"
I may buy another Vette, but the ZR-1 stays! Merry Christmas everyone!

Re: Considering selling the beast ....
If there is a benefit in your dilemma is that both are rare.....Very rarely you see a C4Z and the C6ZR1....
Don't think you can go wrong in either decision......C4Z's have crossed into the antique ins.threshold....Mines insured for 29,000 and the rate is around 140 for the year....Of course the C6ZR1 would be a little more than triple the price for the year...Not a big deal at all, just thinking out loud because I have considered the C6ZR1 and I can't keep both as well... Can't help comparing the C7Z06 to the C6ZR1 because they are both similarly priced..... Some say the C7Z06 peters out on the top end as compared to the C6ZR1...Maybe,but a few mods to the pulley to increase boost and maybe some cooling mods and wala your there .... I feel if you can get a C6ZR1 for no more than 50 grand than its a really good deal...Seen many in the asking price of over 70 grand...I'm like, that's not happening..I think even 60-65 thousand is stretching it..Many have super low miles which to me probably has original tires so right there add over a thousand for rubber.... Ok keep us posted.... |
