Oil Cooler Adapters
Do you have any more of these Oil Cooler Adapters?
Thought I would ask OK......by PM....no more being fabricated by secondchance but the secondchance design of the Oil Cooler Hose Adapter shown below is the CATS MEOW for sure. Quote:

Oil Cooler Adapters
I am assuming you are talking the adapter shown only?
I could use a couple Oil Cooler Adapters myself but as you probably know, Jerry and White Racing make and sell the complete set of SS Braided Oil Cooler Lines (crimped fittings) including the hoses already assembled with the adapter (but not the Adapter separate). Jerry's Adapters are a one piece adapter which Adapters discussed in this thread are taken from the original Jeffvette designed three piece with the two threaded nipples separate. The SS hoses in this thread are designed using Reusable Aeroquip type fittings. The three piece adapters are the Cats Meow Very few guys would make their own SS Braided hoses with reusable fittings although all it requires is a vice and couple crescent wrenches. An angle grinder with cut off wheel is perfect for cutting the SS Braided hoses but you can use a hacksaw Carter is aware in 2008 and it appears he declined machining the Oil Cooler Adapter back then LT5 Oil Cooler Adapter We shall see but I do know the secondchance design is the best

Per your PM I will make these but I have to have a minimum of 10+ units. I'll also need a little time as I'm working on prior jobs now. The "declining" you mentioned was in regards to machining moldings which ain't gonna happen. Thanks......

Oil Cooler Adapters
Quote:
OK......in 2008 going back in that thread (as indicated in Below quote from that thread).............I think you said you would make Oil Cooler Adapters for $85.......so that is where we are ($850 shipped for ten Oil Cooler Adapters in 2008) Quote:
Definitely NOT a Big Demand for SS Oil Cooler Hoses.......or at least NOT a Big Demand for making your own SS Oil Cooler Hoses. Most guys would prefer to just buy a complete prefabricated set of SS Oil Cooler Hoses WITH Adapter rather than save some dollars making your own with the possibility of messing up and having to do it twice. There are some little tricks and one would have to watch a video to learn how to make your own hydraulic hoses correctly using reusable fittings the first try There is one benefit having your own SS Oil Cooler Hose System. Once in a while the original Oil Cooler hoses/swedged fittings develop Leaks. You then have to by a whole New or Used Oil Cooler Hose System which may start out at $180 used. With the SS Oil Cooler Hoses (especially if you fabricate them yourself)......leaks can easily be repaired by replacing the leaking component (Which I do not see that any oil leaks will ever develop with the SS Oil Cooler Hose System if assembled correctly with Re-usable fittings). I have never seen an oil leak in a hydraulic hose using Aeroquip reusable fittings.

I'll do $90 shipped and that includes the AN fittings (2 - aluminum ones) and 2 - o-rings. This is based on having 10+ units ordered.
