Default Thank-you Pete and Marc!!

It was such fun to "talk shop" and listen to so many discussions re a variety of "Z" topics. Then cruising Marc's shop to see "whats cookin" is always a good time too! I left with my head so full of new info and stuff it made me dizzy(er)!

And, Lee...Awesome chili!! & Thanks for the borrow of your sweatshirt!! Love it. Gonna have to have a couple for my Ami and me to put in the cars (her's n mine) for just such occasions. PM me w/ your addy and I'll gladly mail it to ya, if I'm not in "the hood" working. (Hate to keep it till June - You might need it before then!)

Thanks again, Pete/Marc! We should do this again soon. I'll buy the meat!

P.

Good Times yesterday,

Great to see everyone and put a name with a face, and thanks to Marc for being generous enough to invite us all over to his shop. This was a risky move on Marc's part, since the Chicago crew is not too handsome and probably warded off a few cash carrying customers(see photos). The only disapointment was that the "factory" tour of Haibeck's did not include any "free" samples.......there are some seriously nice cars there.

We also found out that the LT-5 can take some serious abuse, and that 315's are very loud when they blow! I think Pete is picking up some krylon to touch up those rear quarters....thanks Hisnhrs. Kidding, but seriously we saw examples that only confirm how tough the LT-5 motor can be!

Now see, you guys had a chance to really help out a brother and look what you've gone and done...

You had a great time with my car all the while knowing I’m trying to get it back home to Maryland. The least you could have done was to put the big pieces in a box and ship them home. Do ya think there is anything left to sell?

Nice to put a face with names. At least I’ve got a pretty good idea of who to be looking for when I come up to pick up what’s left.
