OK Al, I'll bite: What are gas ports on the pistons? Those tiny little holes around the perimeters? And what exactly is their purpose? Inquiring minds want to know....-Bob

The new rod bolts appear to have larger heads. Did the block require further clearancing from before?

No. A bit of an optical illusion. The shoulder is a little fatter, but the overall height is the same as the prior bolts. No clearancing required.
