Tony is that piece a bolt on from greenwood? I actually need a replacement hood but I could always add that scoop now if I absolutely wanted to

i like that Greenwood scoop, but I could get a replacement OEM hood for that (used of course)

for the guys who don't like the vents or ducts on the hoods posted maybe filling them in might be an option. I understand it is an added expense but you'll be closer to what you want. Modifications to the modification we with the bug do all the time

Try to envision this hood without the NACA ducts, I think it would look good with the nice rise

Or all black and it will somewhat hide the NACA ducts

One of the Snake Skinner race car hoods has a low rise approx. 1" hood also with the vents. It looks really good, IMO.

The vents could actually be made to be functional and have a water trough for directional drainage away from the beautiful LT5 power plant..

So if/when I swap I have narrowed it to the hood with NACA or the 1st hood ( last resort will be OEM)

Yes, it is bolt on and fits really good. Had to cut opening in hood. Almost wish I had a clear insert.

For those interested in hood louvers. The ones that come off a Pontiac GTP work awesome and fit.

Back side of hood with opening cut. Had to figure out something because I dropped my hood down with the radiator cap sitting on reservoir and it cracked the underside of the hood. These louvers fixed my problem.
