you guys can debate the braces I have all you want..

All I know is the car is stiffer then without them..

As for the design and the heim joints, Ask Gordon Killebrew why they were used

I like the Killebrew brace, but I know the c4 frame needs a X brace....

Pete should have it at the end of this next week and I'll let him say how the X works.

Anyone have the roof brace? I've been looking for one for sometime now... I like top off driving but the car gets too loose!

I bet the Killebrew brace + the Targa Truss + the Harness Bar + RD Camber Brace would equal solid.

To get a 2G ZR1 to feel like a C5/6 you'll need a lot more than the "R-D Racing X-Brace. In fact, it's not possible to do that.

You could get about 50% of the way there, but putting a cage in the car then upgrading the suspension to Z07 specs. You'd have a stiffer and, perhaps, better handing car but the ride would not be as nice and you'd be putting a bunch of weight in the car.

Accept that you can't DIY 20 years of technical evolution then enjoy your ZR-1 for what it is....one of the finest examples of late-'80s American performance car technology.
